The Role

We are seeking a Chief Financial Officer to lead the finance function and the company's financial strategy at a high-growth US company, working remotely from Brazil.

This is the senior finance seat. You will be accountable for the company's financial strategy, planning, reporting, and capital, working directly with the CEO, the board, and investors.

What You'll Own

• Financial strategy. Set the financial plan and capital strategy.

• Capital raising. Lead fundraising and debt processes, from the model to diligence.

• Finance team. Lead accounting, FP&A, and tax.

• Governance. Own audit, controls, and the audit committee relationship.

• Board. Present to the board and investors.

• Financial strategy. Set the financial plan and capital strategy, and own the conversation with the board and investors.

• The finance function. Lead accounting and FP&A, and build the team, systems, and controls the next stage of growth needs.

What We're Looking For

• 10+ years of FP&A, corporate finance, or analytical finance experience

• Experience leading a finance function and reporting to a CEO and board

• Experience as a CFO or VP of Finance reporting to a CEO and board

• Experience with tools such as NetSuite, a planning tool, and a BI tool

• Strong written and spoken English for daily work with US teams

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field, or an equivalent professional qualification

Preferred

• CFA, CPA, CIMA, ACCA, or an MBA in Finance

• Experience leading an equity or debt raise

• Experience using AI tools in finance workflows, with the judgment to review and correct AI-generated output

Work Arrangement

This is a fully remote role with a single client company for the duration of the engagement. Full-time roles require a minimum of 4 hours of daily overlap with US Eastern Time (ET); part-time roles require a minimum of 2 hours.
